EMPLOYMENT AND DISABILITY LAW
Insight, Experience, Results
Employment is not just work – it's your livelihood. When something goes wrong, either because your job is in jeopardy or you no longer can work due to your health, you need someone experienced to protect your rights.
For more than 25 years, I have been working with individuals to secure benefits and justice as guaranteed under the law. If you’re in search of an attorney to answer your questions and advocate for you, I’d like to hear your story.
Employment law is a diverse area of law. For workers, my office handles matters involving Wrongful Termination, Discrimination, Employee Grievances, Unlawful Retaliation, Sexual Harassment, Wage Violations, Unpaid Overtime, Disability Accommodation, EEOC Charges, Severance Agreements, Non-Competition Agreements, Unemployment Claims and more. In employment law, each client's facts and objectives are unique, and we can adapt legal strategies to fucus upon counseling, settlement negotiations or litigation.
For those individuals who no longer can work due to a disability, I seek solutions. My disability practice includes appeals and advocacy in cases involving Social Security Disability, Long-Term Disability Insurance Denials, Workers’ Compensation Claims and Family Medical Leave. I work directly with Claimants and their medical providers to present a clear and personal portrait of their limiting medical conditions, which is the key to success in Long-Term Disability Appeals and Social Security Disability hearings before an Admnistrative Law Judge. Do not take your appeal opportunities lightly.
For small business owners wary of big-tower firm fees, my office assists with drafting handbooks and policies, EEOC Position Statements and general employment advice and training.
